SEATTLE Starbucks has introduced a new display fixture for food retailers.

The “Signature Aisles” are reportedly being tested in several dozen supermarkets, including Safeway, Vons, Dominick's and a Kroger. They will be introduced in hundreds more over the next year, according to a published report.

The Starbucks-branded fixtures are decorated with dark wood paneling, and hold packaged coffee, cocoa, K-Cups, brewing equipment and other merchandise.

In related news, beginning Wednesday, supermarket shoppers will be able to earn My Starbucks Rewards points with purchases of packaged coffee. Points can be saved for free products at Starbucks stores.
