Ahold USA has implemented a new private label program involving limited-time, seasonal introductions.

The first items in the new “Limited Time Originals” brand are limoncello-flavored shelf-stable groceries, frozens, beverages, baked goods and health and beauty care items.

Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur mainly produced in Southern Italy.

Selections include olive oil, lemonade, craft soda, cookies, cakes, risotto, ice cream, dish detergent and hand soap.

A new wave of Limited Time Originals will hit store shelves in the fall.
