BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons LLC this week will bring Healthy Kidz Club to its stores throughout the company, with the goal of helping to engage kids and their parents in the discussion about living a healthy lifestyle.

Young customers visiting store pharmacies in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas will get to meet Rex, Albertsons' Healthy Kidz Club mascot.

When parents enroll children in Albertsons Healthy Kidz Club, each child will receive a membership card and an activity sheet, and the first 200 to enroll will also receive a special plush Rex toy to take home. Albertsons pharmacies will receive copies of the activity sheet each month, so parents can pick up a free copy when they are in the store doing their regular shopping.
