SALISBURY, N.C. — Bloom stores in northern Virginia and Maryland plan to unveil new enhancements on Wednesday, including a greater selection of healthier foods throughout the store at value prices, a gluten-free center filled with hundreds of items, and an easier way for guests to navigate around the store in most locations.

“If you haven’t shopped at one of our stores in a while, you are in for quite a surprise,” Angie Hunter, Bloom marketing manager, said in a statement. “It’s a newer, refreshed Bloom offering more distinctive assortments and affordable choices for our guests.”

Bloom plans to display its new highlighted additions to Washington, D.C., area residents starting at 7 a.m. at two of its locations on 905 Garrison Road in Stafford, Va., and 845 Rockville Pike in Rockville, Md., on May 4. Several customer activities are also planned to commemorate the newly enhanced stores, including awarding the first 100 customers who shop at all Washington-area Bloom locations a free Pepsi 12-pack.
