PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway is selling Debi Lilly-designed floral bouquets for Valentine’s Day.

Lilly is a Chicago-based event planner who organized Oprah Winfrey’s 50th birthday bash.

Safeway is selling Lilly’s “The Modern” design, a vase of 12 roses with a ribbon band and bear grass loops; and “The Allure” design, 12 roses in an oval-shaped vase with foliage tucked inside. Safeway is also promoting “Love Story Lily,” which has a deep magenta color and a sweet fragrance.
