EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market has introduced 45 new lunch items and frozen entrees.
New sandwiches and wraps, ranging in price from $2.99 to $4.99, include BBQ pork banh mi and a veggie lovers sandwich. Priced from $3.99 to $4.99, new salads include Mandarin almond wheatberry salad and mini ravioli, asparagus and tomato salad.
“We are excited to be launching over 20 delicious new salads, sandwiches and wraps today as part of our fresh lunch offer,” Anthony Johnson, Category Manager for MFP and Prepared Foods, said in a statement. “We recognize that lunch time choices can get a little boring over time, so we asked our chefs to get busy and give our Fresh & Easy menu a spring makeover — the result is a great new selection for customers to choose from.”
Some of the new frozen skillet and microwavable meals are shrimp risotto, chicken enchilada and Swedish-style meatballs.
In separate news, Fresh & Easy has added new items to its lunch combo special, the retailer announced on its Facebook page.
Customers can now choose from options like orzo pasta salad, Chinese chicken salad with ginger soy vinaigrette and a turkey croissant sandwich, among others.
The $6 lunch combo includes sushi, sandwich or salad; snack-sized chips, fruit or nuts; and a drink.
