A Mariano’s store opened this week in Chicago includes a new section called VEG’D that features vegan and raw vegan foods.

The 80,000-square-foot store also has a wine bar with live piano, expanded kosher section and a Sweet Shoppe making caramel apples dipped on site, handmade fudge, flavored popcorn and chocolate dipped treats.

A Tea Bar offering loose leaf, packaged, and freshly brewed teas will open mid-summer.

“With this latest addition to the Mariano’s family, Bucktown shoppers will now have the chance to enjoy a foodie experience that is unique to this neighborhood and culture,” Bob Mariano, chairman and CEO of Roundy’s, said in a press release. “With more than 500 varieties of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, handmade sweets and a variety of vegan options for health-conscious shoppers — Mariano’s Bucktown is a grocery store experience unlike any other.”
