Schnuck Markets, in partnership with leading grocery delivery service Instacart, will add its Curbside Pickup at 10 additional locations in the St. Louis area during the first two weeks of November. These new additions bring the number of Schnucks stores offering Curbside Pickup to 70, out of Schnucks’ total of 112 stores.

As an added bonus to Schnucks customers, the $1.99 Curbside Pickup fee has been temporarily waived at all Curbside locations for orders of $35 or more. (There is a $3.99 fee for orders under $35.)

The rollout includes stores in the Missouri communities of Affton, Crestwood, Town Square, Grandview, Dillon, Ladue, Hampton Village, and Twin Oaks, as well as the Illinois communities of Granite City and Seven Hills.

“With Curbside Pickup, Schnucks customers can receive their groceries quickly without having to leave their vehicles,” said Schnucks E-Commerce Manager Karin Goldkamp. “This is especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic when many customers, especially those that are high-risk, are taking additional precautions.”

Curbside Pickup customers can visit schnucksdelivers.com, select the “Pickup” option, and select a time between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. After completing their purchase, customers will receive a text/app message with store parking and pickup instructions. The grocery order is kept in a designated area of the store, with temperature-sensitive items appropriately placed in refrigerators, freezers, and warming units. When a customer arrives for pickup, a Schnucks teammate will deliver the items to the customer’s vehicle.

Schnucks debuted its Curbside Pickup service — an expansion of its Schnucks Delivers home delivery partnership with Instacart — in November 2018. At the time, the retailer noted that it was the first traditional grocer to offer the service in the St. Louis area.

Schnuck Markets, based in St. Louis, operates stores in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
