Via the Shipt marketplace and app, customers can save 20% to 30% on grocery, household, beauty and personal care, and baby/toddler care products during Dealivery Days from retailers such as Costco, Kroger, Target, Meijer and CVS.Shipt

Starting tomorrow, on-demand delivery provider Shipt plans to kick off its first annual “Dealivery Days” promotion, offering discounts on a range of products from retailers on its online marketplace.

From Oct. 2 to Oct. 4, Shipt will serve up savings of 20% to 30% on popular items across categories such as grocery, household essentials, beauty and personal care and baby/toddler necessities, among others. The Birmingham, Ala.-based company said the discounts will show up when searched in the Shipt app and online marketplace and are available nationwide via Costco Wholesale, Kroger, Target, Meijer and CVS, as well as many other retail partners.

“After years of working with our amazing retailers and brands, we’ve garnered valuable insights that led us to the creation of Dealivery Days. It’s a perfect way to give customers discounts on items important to them while putting our partners front and center,” Rina Hurst, chief business officer at Shipt, said in a statement. “With this new shopping celebration, we ultimately aim to make everyday routines easier and give time back to our customers.”

On Saturday, as many consumers ready for sports “game days,” Shipt will offer 20% off snack items and drinks ranging from chips to candy to frozen meals and sparkling beverages. That will be followed on Sunday with 25% off laundry products, paper towels and toilet paper for consumers looking to stock up on household cleaning items and then on Monday with 30% off beauty, bath and body care and baby/toddler care, the latter including items such as diapers and food.

For the traffic-driving promo, Shipt said it “dug into the data” to identify the top-selling products and brands in those categories across its marketplace. Items include Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Doritos Nacho Cheese and La Croix for the Oct. 2 discounts; Tide Original Liquid Detergent, Angel Soft Double Bath Tissue Rolls and Kleenex Tissues for the Oct. 3 savings; and Pampers Sensitive Diapers, Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes, Similac Formula, Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts, Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara, Essie Nail Polish, Dr. Teal’s Epsom Salt and Garnier Fructis Shampoo Conditioner for the Oct. 4 specials.

Shipt added that, as part of new benefit with Visa, all eligible U.S. Visa consumer credit card holders can enroll for a free Shipt membership and get free delivery on all Shipt marketplace orders over $35.

The Dealivery Days marketing campaign comes as Shipt, a Target Corp. subsidiary, builds on a major expansion. Last month, Shipt announced the completion of its largest single expansion in three years, adding nearly 1,000 stores to its same-day delivery service and 2 million more households to its coverage area.

Currently, Shipt has more than 130 retail partners — in such categories as grocery, household staples, pet care, health and wellness, home goods, alcoholic beverages, and kitchen and office products — and its online shopping and on-demand delivery services are available to 80% of households in over 5,000 U.S. cities.
