Hart’s Local Grocers, located in Rochester, N.Y., aims to stock as many local products as it can. Currently, the percentage of local across the store is in the double digits.
“We’re highlighting a significant number of vendors in all the categories. So much more so than what a standard supermarket chain would do,” said Hart’s general manager Dean Sparks.
The retailer celebrated its grand opening Aug. 15.
