CINCINNATI Kroger Co. is rapidly expanding its new natural, organic brand.

Electrolyte water, pasta sauce and whole wheat pasta are among dozens of new items slated to roll out soon under the Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organic brands, according to the brand's website, simpletruth.com.

Other new items include broccoli, dill, mint, russet potatoes, carrots and other produce.

As reported, Kroger launched Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organic in September as a replacement for two other brands: Naturally Preferred and Private Selection Organic. All items are free from 101 artificial preservatives and ingredients that Kroger customers said they do not want in their foods.
