Lowes Adds Solo Boxes, Organics to Local Club

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Lowes Food Stores has added solo sized boxes and organics only options to its Locally Grown Club weekly produce program.

Now in its third year, the club provides a weekly box of local produce from June 8-Sept. 7 that might include heirloom tomatoes, raspberries, beets and other items. Customers can sign up to pick up boxes for a single week or multiple weeks.

New this year, customers can choose either a 12.5-pound family sized box or a 7.5-pound solo sized box. For one week each in June, July and August, the retailer will offer boxes of all organic produce.
