Allegiance Marks 2 New Foodtown Stores

ISELIN, N.J. — Allegiance Retail Services here on Friday announced the opening of two new independently owned Foodtown supermarkets.

Food Foodtown of Third Avenue, located on Third Avenue in the Bronx, N.Y., opened Oct. 5. The store is the eighth owned and operated by Juan (Morel) Estevez and his son John Estevez. 

The Foodtown of Shickshinny, Pa., was scheduled to open Oct. 6. It is the sixth Allegiance store owned and operated by Thomas Baseki and Christopher Evans.

“It is exciting for us to celebrate the Grand Opening of two new Foodtowns and look forward to the success of both stores. These openings are a sign of Allegiance’s continued strength and growth,” Michael Stolarz, president and chief operating officer of Allegiance Retail Services, said in a statement.

Allegiance provides marketing, advertising, technological and operational support, and Foodtown private-label products for independent store operators.
