MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P will be closing a Pathmark store in Howell, N.J., around Oct. 18, sources told SN.

Employees, represented by United Food and Commercial Workers locals 464A and 1262, were notified of the impending closure last week, union sources said.

A&P, which is currently evaluating strategic options including a potential sale of the company, announced three Pathmark closures in southern New Jersey last month.
