MONTVALE, N.J. — New Jersey Lt. Gov. Kim Guadano is scheduled to speak Thursday during a ceremony to mark the reopening of a Seaside Heights, N.J., A&P store that was closed as a result of Hurricane Sandy damage.

Known as the Ortley Beach A&P, the store is reopening with a new look and expanded product selection, the retailer said.

“We are dedicated to rebuilding our stores in Sandy-impacted areas, and we have worked tirelessly to reopen as quickly as possible,” the company said. “We’re back and better than ever to serve our neighborhood customers as they continue to recover from the storm.”

A&P last week reopened a Waldbaums store in Rockaway, N.Y., that was closed due to damage from Hurricane Sandy.
