Bowlus Steps Down as ECRM President

SOLON, Ohio — Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing here said Tuesday that BV Investment Partners has become its majority owner and that ECRM co-founder Mitch Bowlus was stepping down as president.

SOLON, Ohio — Efficicent Collaborative Retail Marketing here said Tuesday that BV Investment Partners has become its majority owner and that ECRM co-founder was stepping down as president.

“I will continue to be a significant shareholder and will be involved in the future strategic growth of the business, but will be transitioning out of the day-to-day operations,” Bowlus said in a statement.

Greg Farrar, formerly the chief executive of Trade Only Design Library, an online product research and specification library, has been named CEO of ECRM.

"This is about growing and serving our customers better," Farrar said in a statement. "It's about taking the opportunity to enter markets we don't serve yet."

ECRM provides promotional data syndication and analysis, and stages buying events called Efficient Program Planning Sessions that link retailers and suppliers.
