Save Mart Opens FoodMaxx in Vallejo

MODESTO, Calif. — Save Mart Supermarkets here said it plans to open its first FoodMaxx location Wednesday in Vallejo, Calif., at a former Lucky Stores location.

The Vallejo store will be the 50th FoodMaxx location at the 226-store company. FoodMaxx touts "warehouse prices" in a convenient shopping environment.

FoodMaxx is one of Save Mart's low-priced warehouse banners. In addition to its Lucky and Save Mart banners, Save Mart also operates S-Mart Foods, Lucky, Maxx Value Foods and FoodMaxx.
