The facility, on a 74-acre lot, will cover 850,000 square feet, including office space, and is intended to service up to 30 stores in Phoenix, Las Vegas and parts of Southern California. The company said it hopes to break ground within a month and be open for business within 12 to 13 months.

It will be WinCo's fourth full-line facility. The others are located in Woodburn, Ore; Modesto, Calif.; and Boise, Idaho, with a smaller general merchandise/specialty warehouse in Myrtle Creek, Ore.
