CHANDLER, Ariz. — Bashas’ here has selected Vermont-based MyWebGrocer to power new digital services for 63 Bashas’ stores and 48 Food City locations.

With these services, customers can opt in at bashas.com and myfoodcity.com to receive weekly e-mails with ad specials, shopping lists and meal ideas.

“We strive to always improve our services to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs,” said Robert Ortiz, vice president of sales and marketing for Bashas’ Family of Stores, in a statement. “This is another example of how we're bringing value to our customers.”

In addition, Bashas’ and Food City vendors can feature relevant, targeted digital ads to feature their brands. The ads are designed so that with one click customers can add a product to their shopping list.
