SOUTH BEND, Ind. — A recently reopened Martin’s Super Markets store here is hosting three weeks of events and contests to showcase the location’s new and remodeled features.
New additions to the store include a stir fry/pasta station, gelato/sorbetto bar and bulk foods aisle, as well as an enlarged café with seating for 275.
From Sept. 2-22, the store will hold events such as gelato happy hours and cheese sculpture carving, as well as product sampling and deli meal specials.
“We might look bigger, but we’re still the same, friendly neighborhood grocer that you’ve always counted on,” Chris Hawley, store manager, said in a press release. “We listened to you, our customers, and tried to design the store that best meets your needs.”
