WASHINGTON — United Fresh Produce Association has released a new quarterly report in partnership with market research firm Datassential called "Fresh Insights for Foodservice."
The report highlights trends in how fresh produce is used in foodservice and restaurants. The current edition covers popular produce items like rhubarb, romanesco and pickled vegetables as well as the role of produce in Mediterranean fast-casual cuisine, among other topics.
“We are excited to offer the industry such an in-depth resource focused on foodservice,” Jeff Oberman, United’s VP of trade relations and liaison to United’s Retail-Foodservice Board, said in a press release. “Our members know that foodservice trends shift quickly and this publication will be a valuable tool for them to stay on top of those trends and take advantage of new opportunities.”
United Fresh members can access Fresh Insights for Foodservice free on the association’s website, while non-members can download it for $50.
