ISELIN, N.J. — The Brooklyn, N.Y., Italian specialty grocery La Bella Marketplace celebrated a grand reopening Friday, marking its joining of the Allegiance Retail Services cooperative.

La Bella Marketplace, located in Bensonhurst, is owned and operated by Leonard and Frank Pesce. The store is well-known for its Italian specialty deli and meats, prepared foods and gourmet bakery.

“We are proud to have the second La Bella Marketplace join our co-op. The store in Staten Island has been prosperous and we look forward to the success of the new La Bella Marketplace in Brooklyn as well,” David Maniaci, chairman and chief executive officer of Allegiance Retail Services, said in a statement.
