He said if Costco felt there were any problems, it would consider other options, adding that the company sees no reason to change.

The vote to rehire Andersen was 98%, the company said -- although several shareholders at the meeting indicated they had cast their votes by proxy in December, before Andersen's role in the Enron situationhad become public knowledge.
