NEW YORK — Fairway Market here has selected a price optimization solution for base pricing from Revionics, Roseville, Calif.
According to Revionics, Fairway’s objective is to properly define category roles and automate price maintenance. Price optimization tailored for each store will be the final step. Founded in the early 1930s, Fairway currently operates nine retail locations in the New York tri-state area including seven superstores and two super wine and spirit shops.
In a statement, Kevin McDonnell, chief merchandising officer for Fairway Market, said the Revionics system “is robust and easier to use than other price optimization products, and we believe Revionics will truly partner with us to achieve our strategic, operational and financial objectives.”
