SUNBURY, Pa. — Weis Markets on Monday said Geoffrey Wexler has joined the company as director of food service and that Dennis Yoney is the retailer’s new director of pharmacy operations.
Wexler will oversee the pricing, procurement and promotion for the company’s deli and foodservice programs, Weis said. Prior to joining Weis, Wexler was with Publix Super Markets, where he helped oversee its prepared-food program. He has also worked for Sodexho Corporate Services, NexStore Marketplace and Eatzi’s Market.
In his new role, Yoney will oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations. He previously worked in pharmacy field operations for Rite Aid and in government affairs for Brooks/Eckerd.
