ROCKVILLE, Md. — MOM’s Organic Market’s first store in Pennsylvania could open as soon as February, according to reports.
The company currently operates 10 small-format organic food stores in the Baltimore/Washington area. Its first Pennsylvania store is planned for Bryn Mawr, in the Main Line area of suburban Philadelphia, and will be its largest to-date at 17,000 square feet, according the report in Philadelphia Magazine.
MOM’s previously announced plans for the store but has not yet disclosed an opening date.

The store, located in part of a former Borders bookstore, will include an all-orgainc café called Naked Lunch serving prepared foods and juices, Philadelphia Magazine reported. The article also said a farmers' market is planned for a spring opening in the adjacent space.
“If this store is successful, it will be pivotal in giving us the confidence to expand throughout the region, and possibly further into the Northeast,” Scott Nash, founder of MOM’s, said in a previous release.
