This marks the opening of the first Village Medical at Walgreens primary care practice for the region

Walgreens and VillageMD today announced the opening of the first Village Medical at Walgreens primary care practice in the Chicago area. The practice is located in Elk Grove Village.

Village Medical at Walgreens is a primary care practice located alongside a Walgreens pharmacy location. The spacious practice includes eight exam rooms and on-site labs to offer full-service primary care, including the management of chronic conditions in addition to treating illnesses and injuries. Village Medical physicians and Walgreens pharmacists collaborate to fill prescriptions immediately following medical visits, at the same location if patients choose, and ensure patients have access to care and medical expertise.
