SAN ANTONIO - H.E. Butt Grocery's Central Market division introduced more than two dozen new pastries after the bakers from the seven Central Market stores completed a week of training at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. The treats include a raspberry mousse cake, red velvet cake, fromage blanc cheesecake, macaroon sandwiches, chibouste lime tart and Boston cream pies, Central Market's bakery operations said. Another team of bakers from Central Market will go to the CIA campus in January to develop new breads, the company said.
