CINCINNATI — Around 3,000 workers at 26 Kroger stores in the Toledo, Ohio, market voted to approve a new one-year contract Thursday, according to United Food and Commercial Workers Local 75, Dayton, Ohio.
The agreement includes an annual bonus for top-rate employees and introduces a new wage scale for apprentices, the union said.
“A short-term contract allows us to explore other options that could expand and strengthen your health care coverage,” the union said in a message to members. “This year, you'll also have the opportunity to earn incentives and lower your health care costs.”
