ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The National Association of Chain Drug Stores here has published a “Guide to Success” for its Marketplace Conference, scheduled June 23-26, as well as for its Pharmacy & Technology Conference, scheduled Aug. 11-15, the association said this week. Each “Guide to Success” helps attendees understand their audience, manage their time at the event and chart a focused pre-conference and on-site strategy, according to David Bernauer, chairman of Walgreen Co., Deerfield, Ill., and chairman of NACDS. Features of the guide include attendee demographics, first-timer tips, program insights, advice for setting meetings and expectations of those meetings. The guides are available online at www.nacds.org. Both events will be held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
