NGA Show Floor Sells Out, Registration Up

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association here said all exhibit space has been sold for its annual convention, scheduled for Feb. 10 to 13 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas — the earliest date the show has sold out completely.

More than 175 exhibitors have committed to NGA, said Peter J. Larkin, president and chief executive officer, adding that NGA will share the exhibit space with the Produce Marketing Association and the North American Meat Association.

Larkin also said  early show registration numbers are up significantly over the numbers at this point a year ago.

"We are on track to break last year's attendance record, which is a sign of the strength of the independent retail and wholesale grocer and their focus on being in the forefront of the latest trends and technology in our industry," he said.
