Buehler’s acquired the former IGA store, measuring about 17,000 to 18,000 square feet, in July and has kept it open during the remodeling/conversion, a spokeswoman for the company told SN. The store includes new paint and décor inside and out, a new entrance, and expanded fresh departments. The meat department features Certified Angus beef, Farmland all-natural pork and local Gerber’s poultry. Fresh seafood from Foley Fish will be delivered direct from the Atlantic coast three times a week.

Frozen and dairy departments have also been expanded and the product assortment updated. The grocery department has been redesigned for shopping ease and features the Our Family private label. Beer and wine has been expanded to include an assortment of more than 300 craft and branded beers and 600 wines chosen by Buehler’s wine stewards.
