NGA Promotes Two Executives

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association here said Tuesday it has promoted two executives: Aileen Dullaghan Munster to vice president, education and research; and Matthew R. Ott, to vice president, membership and information technology.

Munter was previously director of education and research, responsible for setting strategy for education initiatives and developing and managing educational events; and overseeing the development of financial benchmarks and consumer surveys and developing share groups for specific communities within NGA's membership.

Ott was previously director of membership and information technology, responsible for membership service offerings, including the development and improvement of organization technology such as NGA's website and online member portal, online training and education center and social media platforms.

According to Peter J. Larkin, NGA president and chief executive officer, "Aileen has improved the quality of our conventional educational program, launched new conferences, webinars and share groups; guided our economic impact research project; and helped revitalize the grocers Research and Education Foundation; while Matt has brought new focus to our member recruitment and retention program, implemented a new membership database and worked to upgrade NGA office technology."
