NISKAYUNA, N.Y. — Price Chopper, Schenectady, N.Y., announced on its Facebook page that its store here is the first to offer customer pickup of orders submitted online via the chain's Shops4u service.
Price Chopper is also delivering orders to five zip codes in the Schenectady area, which includes Niskayuna. The fee to order online and pick up at the store is $10. Shoppers are advised that there is a limit to the number of orders that are allowed per each pickup time slot.
“Once a time slot is full, you will no longer be able to select it during checkout,” according to the Price Chopper website. “Please reserve your time slot before placing your order.”
If an item can’t be found online, shoppers can enter the product on an online form with a description. If the store carries the item, it will be added to the order.
