This weekend in Newton, Iowa, the Hy-Vee IndyCar Race will take place at the Iowa Speedway, which features 25,000 seats and an RV viewing area along the backstretch of the track, reports local news outlet, Des Moines Register.
While grocery stores and the IndyCar Race do not seem to have much in common, camping is a tradition at Iowa Speedway, and camping means groceries.
Hy-Vee Mini Markets will be close by in the RV Hill and the main campground areas at the Speedway with basic grocery items and camping/outdoor needs. Ticket holders can visit the mini markets in the main campgrounds, while Turn 3 Terrace Camping weekend pass holders will have access to the RV Hill Mini Market. Hy-Vee’s online delivery service, Aisles, also will be available.
The NTT IndyCar Series races have been at Iowa Speedway for 17 years.
The Hy-Vee Homefront 250, presented by Instacart, takes place Saturday, as well as the Indy NXT by Firestone, and the Hy-Vee One Step 250, presented by Gatorade, takes place Sunday.
