SALISBURY, N.C. — The completion of Food Lion’s final 72 store remodels across five states includes upgrades like a double-your-money-back produce guarantee.
The retailer also asserts that updated stores in Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia customers will provide better service through employee training, better quality produce and more savings throughout the store.
A new MVP Savings Center allows customers to scan their MVP Card for other discounts on national and private label items.
“We invite customers to visit their local Food Lion, where they will experience firsthand our store enhancements, such as better service, fresher produce and our new MVP Savings Centers,” Rick LaCroix, VP for Food Lion’s Southern Division, said in a press release. “We hope customers will give us a try and experience the changes we’ve made throughout the store.”
The first 50 customers at each remodeled store will receive a $10 gift card on Jan. 8-9 as part of grand re-opening celebrations.
