Martin's readies unveiling of 'Express' banner

Martin’s Super Markets will debut a new small-store format under the Martin’s Express banner next month in Goshen, Ind.

The 26,2000-square-foot store, at the site of a former Save-A-Lot, will feature “the best of what Martin’s has to offer in a smaller format,” according to a statement from Phil Plummer, the company’s VP of sales and marketing.”

"At Martin’s Express, we’ve assembled a group of specialists who will be dedicated from day one to presenting the best, freshest and highest quality favorites shoppers have asked us to offer,” Plummer added.

Martin’s, based in South Bend, Ind., said the store would feature everything fresh that shoppers have come to expect from Martin’s, plus the rest of what is needed to complete meals, in an easy-to-shop store layout.
