Nearly 400 sourdough loaves are sold weekly at Hy-Vee’s store in Urbandale, Iowa, making it one of the store’s top-selling breads. Along with regular sourdough, the store makes three additional varieties: roasted garlic; added rye chops; and jalapeño-cheddar.
