Wal-Mart Campus Store Among 18 New Sites

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Eighteen new or relocated stores — including the third Walmart on Campus location — opened Wednesday, Wal-Mart Stores here said.

Walmart on Campus, a convenience-style store with pharmacy and basic grocery offerings, opened at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Wal-Mart opened the first such store at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville in 2011 and opened a second location at Arizona State University in Tempe, earlier this year.

Other openings Wednesday include new Neighborhood Market stores in Dallas; Turlock, Calif.; Milwaukie, Ore.; High Point, N.C.; Hoover, Ala.; and Norman, Okla. New Supercenters opened Wednesday in Tysons Corner, Va.; Meridian, Idaho; Kerman, Calif.; Delamo, Calif., and Norcross, Ga. Relocated Supercenters also opened Wednesday in Gloversville, N.Y., and in Newport, Ark.
