The new Brothers Marketplace is located at 46 Depot St. in Duxbury’s historic district at Hall’s Corner.

Measuring 20,000 square feet, the store combines the feel of a community market with a one-stop grocery shopping and dining experience.

Besides a big produce area, the Duxbury location features a salad bar, hot grab-and-go meals and other prepared foods, made-to-order sandwiches, sushi rolled and hand-cut by Yummi Sushi chefs, natural and antibiotic-free meats and a lobster tank.

Roche Bros. said shoppers “can expect an inviting in-store experience,” including a floral department, pastries baked from scratch, locally roasted coffee and tea, and espresso drinks from the bakery and coffee bar, which has a seating area with Duxbury-themed decor.

At Brothers Marketplace, customers will find “an innovative approach to food,” whether they’re staying for a meal or picking up groceries to go, according to Roche Bros.

The market emphasizes local producers and vendors handpicked by store associates, including Duxbury Saltworks sea salt, Atlas Bars, Grumpy’s Pepper Sauce, Sweet Sense baked goods and Powder Point Oysters.
