Lidl US today held the grand opening for its first two stores on Long Island, including this 30,000-square-foot location in West Babylon, N.Y. Converted from the Best Market banner, which Lidl acquired early this year, the store has 20,000 square feet of selling space and is one of eight for Long Island that the hard discount grocer has announced thus far.
