Food Lion Seeks Holiday Bakers

SALISBURY, N.C. – Food Lion has launched a store-brand holiday baking contest.

To enter the “Just Desserts” contest, home bakers must submit a recipe of a cake, pie, cookie or other dessert that has a Food Lion store brand as an ingredient. Participating brands include My Essentials, Food Lion, Taste of Inspirations and Nature’s Place.

All entries are posted on a Food Lion Facebook page. The winner will get a $500 Food Lion gift card. The contest runs through Nov. 13.
