Skogen’s Uses Equipment Management System

ONALASKA, Wis. — Skogen’s Festival Foods here recently implemented a core module of the Verisae Connected Facility platform — Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) — to better manage store equipment such as refrigeration systems and cases.

Using the system, Festival Foods, which operates 17 stores, will aggregate and analyze data on the entire lifecycle of store equipment, including work-order dispatch and tracking, remote monitoring of asset efficiency, warranty tracking, electronic invoicing and management of both in-house and third-party service contractors. The system is provided on a software-as-a-service basis by Minneapolis-based Verisae.

“We have been using Verisae for three months and are immediately starting to see the benefits of the system,” said Steve Burkhardt, Skogen’s director of operations, in a statement. “Festival is excited to move forward and control our costs and make better decisions.”
