Dollar General Seeks 10,000 New Hires

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Dollar General Corp. said Tuesday that it would seek to hire 10,000 workers during the month of May to support its expansion.

The retailer said it would hold a national hiring fair May 18 at 170 stores nationwide, and would also participate in a military veteran hiring program for its facilities in Florida on May 10. It is seeking distribution center workers throughout the month. The new jobs will support growth in the 40 states where Dollar General does business. The company said locations and times for job fairs will be [published on its website.
