NORFOLK, Neb. — Affiliated Foods Midwest here said Tuesday it posted 14% growth in operating income for the recently ended fiscal year, fueled by a 4.1% increase in top-line sales.
The wholesale cooperative did not release specific figures for operating profits and revenues. SN previously estimated the company's sales for the fiscal year, which ended June 26, at about $1.3 billion.
The company said it provided patronage rebates to its members totaling $46.6 million, an increase of 8.4% over year-ago levels. Retailer allowances were up more than 22%, the company said.
