TYLER, Texas — Brookshire Grocery Co. has joined the ranks of grocery companies taking to YouTube and Facebook to communicate with a growing segment of the population.
To promote store brands, the company has produced video sketches on YouTube featuring animated containers of milk and yogurt. The company’s marketing department has produced two videos, each about a minute and a half in length, and plans to do more.
The Facebook page is available to members through being asked by another member to “become a fan” of Brookshire’s or by using this link.
“These are creative ways to reach more people and promote products and services,” said Chief Executive Officer Rick Rayford, in a release. “We have also updated our Brookshire’s and Super 1 Foods websites, which offer browsers a wide range of information about our company including store locations, advertised specials, recipes, nutritional information and much more.”
