Coupons.com Launches iPhone Application

Coupons.com yesterday announced the availability of its new Coupons.com application for the iPhone and iPod touch.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Coupons.com here yesterday announced the availability of its new Coupons.com application for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The free application allows mobile users to use CPG coupons they can print, save to their grocery store loyalty card or redeem at the POS by showing coupons on their mobile devices. Shoppers can print coupons wirelessly to HP printers or send the coupons to an email address for printing later.

The “save to card” option is currently supported by stores owned by Safeway, Pleasanton, Calif., though additional chains will be offering this option “soon,” said Coupons.com. The mobile application also provides over 12,000 “hyperlocal” offers from retailers and service providers across the country—from pizzerias to plumbers and dry cleaners to dog walkers.
