SAN ANTONIO — A year’s worth of free groceries and a $1,000 kitchen upgrade are on the line as part of H-E-B’s Ready, Set, Cook! challenge, launched Monday.
Contestants who register on the Healthy at H-E-B website can begin participating by cooking at least one healthy Ready, Set, Cook! recipe per week for all eight weeks of the challenge. H-E-B provides 60 “My Texas Table” light recipes from which to choose. Entrants must log their participation using the Ready, Set, Cook! tracker.
Grand prize is a year’s worth of groceries, a $1,000 kitchen upgrade and a shopping tour with an H-E-B dietitian, second prize is a $1,000 H-E-B gift card. Ten $100 H-E-B gift cards will be awarded for third prize; 20 $50 gift cards for fourth prize; and 30 $25 gift cards will be awarded for fifth prize.
The contest is part of Healthy at H-E-B, a program launched last year to provide tips on eating right, exercising and smart shopping.
