Marsh Looks to New Stores: Report

INDIANAPOLIS — Marsh Supermarkets here plans to spend $60 million over the next three years to build up to 10 new stores and remodel others, its new chief executive officer said in a local report published this week.

INDIANAPOLIS — Marsh Supermarkets here plans to spend $60 million over the next three years to build up to 10 new stores and remodel others, its new chief executive officer said in a local report published this week.

Joe Kelley, who joined Marsh as its new CEO and chairman this spring, told the Indianapolis Business Journal in an interview that "Marsh is back and can compete with anyone out there. We just need to get our fleet up to date."

Kelley also said he would revamp the company's loyalty program and introduce a greater emphasis on pricing promotions and specials.
