BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Southern Family Markets here has named Mike Mock as its new vice president of sales and marketing, effective immediately.
Mock has more than 29 years of experience in the grocery industry, all with Piggly Wiggly Carolina, which he served most recently as director of grocery merchandising and retail pricing. Mock will report to Max Henderson, the newly named president of Southern Family.
SFM is a division of distributor C&S Wholesale Grocers, Keene, N.H. It operates 66 stores under the Bruno's, Food World, Piggly Wiggly, Southern Family Markets and SFM Liquor banners.
